I spent a year interning at the historic commercial printing studio Globe Collection and Press at MICA in 2023. During my internship, I had the opportunity to assist in producing large-scale client work by hand-assembling letterpress forms, manually printing screen prints and letterpress forms, and illustrating products for Globe's online store and portfolio. My experience working with Globe Letterpress as an intern gave me valuable exposure to the professional printing industry.
